Fire…in my Bones

Good morning; thank you for sharing around God’s Word. My thoughts are going back to Nehemiah this morning as the report he received about Jerusalem’s welfare and its inhabitants prompt him to take bold action. “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven” (Nehemiah 1:4). My friend, as we continue to learn of the condition of our country (morals). As we continue to see the decline in society for the things of God. We continue to see how satan is fooling people into not believing the Word of God. People have become forceful in making the church accept things that are contrary to God’s Word. But we as the church must have the burden of Nehemiah for the ruined wall of America. “And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love Him and observe His commandments” (v.5). There is still a large group of saved people who love God, trying to keep His commandments. The people of God must be disturbed about the destruction of the walls (morals) destroyed in our land. People of God, let’s join together to protect our communities’ future through the preaching, teaching, and living of the Word of God. Father, I pray that we, as your people, will have a great concern for Kingdom Work; it seems as if we are using this Covid-19 virus as a spiritual quarantine. Father, I pray that your people will feel the “fire that is shut-up in their bones.” Be Blessed in Jesus Name!
